Is the "Test of Word Finding" new to you?

Hi everyone, This week I'm walking through the Test of Word Finding, 3rd edition. And I like it a lot. Finding a good test of word finding is important because we've all had those clients who really struggle to find words. What I like about this test is that there are two main components. The first easel you administer to test clients' abilities to find a word when given a picture, without a picture, and then verbs. Then after you are done with that, you get out the comprehension check easel. The second easel has pictures from a field of 6 and now you say all the words you had asked them to name, but this time they have to point to them. This is thoughtful because the assessment is making sure that they actually know a word. What if they were unable to name a word they actually didn't know? Then it's a lack of vocabulary and not a word finding deficit. I'm a fan of this assessment and I really would like to share the assessment they created for adolescents and adults: TAWF2. ********* Have you played around with AI? Long time no see, friends! My last emails came out in June when I was on a roll with a new video every week.
