New printable for targeting language in habitats 🌍✏️

Hi friends,

I just finished creating a Coloring Pages Printable pack that I think could be a helpful addition to your therapy toolkit.

It includes 16 different habitat scenes (Arctic, desert, farm, pond, rainforest, etc.), and each comes in two versions:

  • One where the animals can be cut out separately, which is great for play-based therapy, sequencing, or acting out little stories. Students can also paste the animals wherever they want in the scene.
  • One where the animals are part of the background, with their names listed and two simple discussion questions to support vocabulary, wh- questions, and conversation.

Everything is in black and white for easy printing, and it’s been a nice way to combine fine motor practice with language goals. It will work well for mixed groups because students can be coloring, labeling, or answering questions depending on their targets.

If you’d like to check it out, here’s the link:

I’d love to hear how you might use the cut-out version in your sessions — my kids have been really creative with it!

Thanks,
Sarah 💘

Hi everyone, Do you think that most of the time you're cruising along with your speech sound kids? Most of the time for me it feels like, even if it's slow progress, the cues are landing and we’ve got a good rhythm going. But then you get that one kid who completely throws you off! (Or maybe you get two or three because lord knows we've had some rough years!) Nothing works, you’re trying every trick you know, and suddenly you’re questioning everything ever written about R or clusters or...
